REFLEX/RECEIVE: Calia Fernandez My paintings explore places where memory flows into imagination and imagination into memory, and boundaries where dream states and natural landscapes are integrated with the female form. Compositions often balance a zest for classical beauty with surreal motifs and overlapping images, contemplating the organic relationship of time’s patterns and the cultivation of spontaneity and intuition. There is a sense dreaming the ancient, in a modern land; of superposition and a caress of the nonsensical. Painting to me, is learning to tread in that open posture of self creation and self forgetting, where force gives way to receptivity. SOUK Restorative
Restorative practice pacifies and down-regulates the nervous system, inviting the senses to withdraw into deep relaxation and instill mental clarity through breathwork and opening postures. Postures are held for 3-8 minutes thru the support of props, to create a space of tranquility and rejuvenation. Instead of active muscular engagement and stretching, restorative is much more akin to yoga nidra and guided meditation, creating a sanctuary for the body and mind to retreat and recharge. In a culture that prizes productivity, consumption, and excessive speed, restorative yoga offers the rest and wisdom of non-doing that much of modern habits train us to disregard. Rest is a gift, offers us more variety in our movement practices, and acts as an alternative form of practice during stress, strain, or physical injury. Light to intense movement is encouraged, but not required, prior to restorative sessions, and restorative can be practiced in combination with other more vigorous forms of yoga asana. It is recommended to bring an eye mask and/or a few hand towels/cloths to enhance relaxation.

IYENGAR Yoga INTERMEDIATE
After having learned the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, this faster paced, mixed level class encourages students to cultivate a consistent, personalized, and informed practice. This class introduces students to a range of poses including forward and back extensions as well as twisting postures and head balance. Level II into Level III deepens the students’ awareness and experience of the more subtle and profound aspects and effects of asana. Having attained a level of stability and ease, students may hold asanas for longer periods of time, learn variations and begin the journey to reflection and meditation in asana. At this level, students are strongly encouraged to practice at home regularly so that their personal understanding of yogic postures begins to fuel their understanding of refinements taught in class. Restorative practice pacifies and down-regulates the nervous system, inviting the senses to withdraw into deep relaxation and instill mental clarity through breathwork and opening postures. Postures are held for 3-8 minutes thru the support of props, to create a space of tranquility and rejuvenation. Instead of active muscular engagement and stretching, restorative is much more akin to yoga nidra and guided meditation, creating a sanctuary for the body and mind to retreat and recharge. In a culture that prizes productivity, consumption, and excessive speed, restorative yoga offers the rest and wisdom of non-doing that much of modern habits train us to disregard. Rest is a gift, offers us more variety in our movement practices, and acts as an alternative form of practice during stress, strain, or physical injury. After having learned the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, this faster paced, mixed level class encourages students to cultivate a consistent, personalized, and informed practice. This class introduces students to a range of poses including forward and back extensions as well as twisting postures and head balance. Level II into Level III deepens the students’ awareness and experience of the more subtle and profound aspects and effects of asana. Having attained a level of stability and ease, students may hold asanas for longer periods of time, learn variations and begin the journey to reflection and meditation in asana. SOUK Basic FLOW & STRETCH
SOUK Basic STRETCH & VINYASA is ideal for beginners; those seeking more flexibility and athletes looking to integrate yoga into their routine; or anyone looking for a slower flow. This slower moving, exploratory class provides the student with the underlying basics of how a vinyasa practice works, while encouraging proper alignment and a deeper stretch. Expect to spend some time close to the ground in poses like reclining twist, supine hip-openers and pigeon. You will leave class with a clearer understanding of yoga poses and a profound sense of openness and release in areas where you typically hold tension, such as the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and back.

Yoga Sequencing Lab with Francesca Bove & Zaina Budayr
Teaching yoga is an art, and over time, it’s easy to fall into familiar patterns, relying on habit rather than exploration. This workshop is an opportunity to break free from routine, refine sequencing skills, and rediscover creative expression in teaching. Sequencing is more than just linking poses—it’s the foundation of how we shape an experience. Rather than relying on standard Vinyasa templates, we’ll work with improvisation, movement quality, and creative problem-solving to expand sequencing vocabulary through the Prop & Flow/Viale Method. Through guided exercises and real-time experimentation, participants will explore how to break the structure of what they know, articulate ideas with greater clarity, and design classes that feel dynamic and inspired. Expect an immersive, hands-on experience where we’ll refine deeper improvisation techniques, sharpen the ability to teach with creative freedom, and identify ingrained sequencing habits that may be limiting growth. We'll disrupt these patterns in innovative ways, incorporating movement constraints, tempo shifts, and transitions that challenge default tendencies. This is not a lecture—it’s a working lab where we’ll move, deconstruct, and rebuild sequencing ideas in real time, giving teachers the tools to design classes that feel fresh, expressive, and uniquely their own.

IYENGAR Yoga INTERMEDIATE
After having learned the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, this faster paced, mixed level class encourages students to cultivate a consistent, personalized, and informed practice. This class introduces students to a range of poses including forward and back extensions as well as twisting postures and head balance. Level II into Level III deepens the students’ awareness and experience of the more subtle and profound aspects and effects of asana. Having attained a level of stability and ease, students may hold asanas for longer periods of time, learn variations and begin the journey to reflection and meditation in asana. At this level, students are strongly encouraged to practice at home regularly so that their personal understanding of yogic postures begins to fuel their understanding of refinements taught in class. Class will rotate each week of the month: First week: Standing asanas, Second week: Seated Twists and Forward Bends, Third week: Backbends and Fourth week: Restorative/Pranayama An established lineage, the Iyengar method allows you to experience and envision longevity in your practice, as your body incrementally builds and refines sensitivity, strength, and stamina from the surface to the core.

The 4 Skillful Actions w/ David Nichtern
Even with a compassionate heart and the best of intentions, our interaction with others can be clumsy, ineffective, and even counter productive. In the Buddhist tradition, developing skillful means is an important addition to the cultivation of wisdom and compassion. In meditation, we can start with gentleness and precision to see the situation clearly beyond our own filters and habitual patterns. David is the author of the critically acclaimed books Awakening From the Daydream: Reimagining The Buddha's Wheel of Life and Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck. He mentors individual students both in person and online, and leads meditation teacher training programs around the world via his Dharma Moon platform. He is also a highly regarded composer, producer and guitarist. David has recorded and played with Stevie Wonder, Jerry Garcia, Lana Del Rey, Maria Muldaur, Paul Simon and many others. Among his many credits in records, film and TV, he wrote the classic hit song "Midnight at the Oasis" and composed the score for Christopher Guest's film "The Big Picture".
